At Alpha Omega, we have a single, scripturally founded goal: We "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (MT. 28:19-20)

Here's the thing: when students leave home to go off to college, for many it is the first time when they are truly doing things on their own. It is a reset button, and all of a sudden these young adults are in a new environment where they have to not only navigate their degree courses but also have to decide who they want to be. 

​

Without campus ministries, how many people would involve 'faith' in that new identity? The students who come from Christian families soon realize how much parents could have been the reason they felt like going to church, there are the students that have never been a part of a religious family at all and then there are the students that are religious, but that religion is not Christianity.

​

Getting into faith is not easy. And, for those who do come to the Christian faith, they soon realize that the life the Bible calls for its followers to imitate can be highly challenging. But yet year after year, we crazy Christians continue to grow and see more lives turn to the faith. Why?

That's what we want YOU to come and see. If there's any part of you, at all, that is willing to find out what all the hype is about, we want to show you our community. We are just one campus ministry of many, you have options. Just know whenever you are ready we want you to come and be a part of our little family.

 

Alpha Omega Philly, what started out as just a couple of students has now transitioned to being a stable, lively campus ministry of the Christian faith!
